Pups

From Saving Furry Friends:

Allie is a 3 yr old terrier/black lab that came into our local shelter pregnant. She was taken in as a stray and was put on a 10 day hold. Two days after she was taken into the shelter she gave birth to ten pups, two passed away leaving her with eight surviving pups. She and her pups are scheduled to be euthanised on 12/9. Despite being full to capacity at the moment( 38 dogs presently in our care) our rescue is willing to pull mom and pups and keep them together until they can be weaned. We are looking for fosters/adopters or other rescues that we could possibley transfer the pups to once they were weaned .Our rescue would give the pups their first set of shots as well as deworm them prior to transfering to another rescue. We would just be heartbroken to see these little one be born and die in a shelter never knowing love or compassion. If you can help Allie or one of her babies please contact us at 276-706-6477.
