This young male kitty appears to have been abandoned and dropped off at a friend's house in Mt Jackson. My friend has checked with all of the surrounding neighbors, but no one is claiming the kitty. From what I understand, the cat is used to being inside, because he keeps wanting in her house, and is super loving. He also appears to have been around dogs, because he rubs up against her small dog and is not afraid. This cat is super sweet, but my friend simply cannot keep it. She is a cat lover, but already has 12 cats of her own (all spayed/neutered). Most of her cats are a result of irresponsible owners leaving their cats or dropping them off in her neighborhood. While she has been able to help some of these cats by getting them fixed and adopting them, she simply can't take on any more animals. If anyone is interested and able to provide this kitty a good home, or recognizes the kitty as lost, please contact Teresa at 540/325-4573. If she is unable to locate a good home for this little guy soon, she will be contacting Cats Cradle or another organization in an effort to place the cat.
