Athena is a 6 month old, black and white kitten looking for someone to
love and cherish her!
She started off with a rough life and was found outside of my
apartment complex near JMU. She was very shy and afraid of me. But gradually
I was able to win her trust and now we are inseparable! She cuddles
with me and my roommate and gets along well with our other cat. She
is also a little ball of energy and loves to play with her toys and
chase pant legs. But I can not afford to keep her and will not be able to take
her home when I graduate in May.
She has been spayed, had her first year rabies shot, been de-wormed, wears
flea medicine, and knows how to use a litter box.
She needs someone who is willing to be patient and build a trusting
relationship. And once she lets you into her heart and feels
comfortable, she will love you forever!!! She constantly follows me
around, meows at me for attention, and loves to have her head
scratched. She is also quite the little snuggle buddy and is great
for chilling out on the couch.
I think she would be best in a calm environment with a family, or
young adults. She would do well with other cats and loves to play with
them, but dogs or small children would not be a suitable environment
for her. She also loves to be outside when its nice outside and would
make the perfect indoor/outdoor cat. So if you are willing to be
patient and allow her to get to know you and your family, she will
never forget the kindness you've shown her !
